Grass and/or yard debris - You must keep your grass cut.  Grass and/or weeds cannot be over 10” high.  All limbs and trash must be picked up and disposed of.  Do not blow leaves and grass clippings into the street.  Leaves and grass clippings clog the storm drains.

Holiday Decorations:  All holiday decorations must be taken down within 30 days of the individual Holiday.

         Sanitation Information:

The City of Doraville offers a 100% exemption from sanitation fees, for seniors who have reached the age of 65 and older.  For information concerning this exemption, please call Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at 770-451-8745

Advanced Disposal picks up household garbage, bulk waste, white goods (appliances), yard waste, and tree limbs 5’ in length and under and 5” in diameter or less. To schedule pick up of white goods please call Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at 770-451-8745

The City of Doraville picks up construction debris and tree limb over 5’ in length and 5” in diameter.  To schedule the pick up of construction debris and tree limb over 5’ in length and 5” in diameter, please call Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at 770-451-8745.

Advanced Disposal furnishes garbage carts in 2 sizes (95 gallon carts and 65 gallon carts).  The carts are for household garbage only. Yard Waste will be picked up on Mondays only.  Yard waste must be placed in bags or cans (DO NOT PUT YOUR YARD WASTE IN THE GARBAGE CART).  For any problems or questions, contact Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at City Hall at 770-451-8745.

Carts are to be placed at the curb the night before scheduled pickup day.  The carts are to be removed from the curb the day of your scheduled pickup.  You can use your own cans if you wish not to have a cart or you can place your cans along side the cart if you should have need to.

All new customers are required to fill out an application for garbage service.  Anyone moving out of the City or moving to another resident inside the City should call Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at 770-451-8745 to discontinue garbage service.

Side door pickup will be available for disabled residents who are physically unable to place containers at the curbside.  If you are physically unable to place a container at the curb, please call Sandra Bryant, Sanitation Clerk, at 770-451-8745.

Recycling:  Recycling containers are located at Honeysuckle Park.

Holidays:  (Garbage will not be picked up on these days; if your pickup falls on a holiday, your garbage will be picked up during that holiday week.

Holidays are as follows: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day.
