The first Thursday of each month is Cary Reynolds night at Chick-Fil-A located on Buford Highway in Doraville Plaza. The school receives 10% of all sales between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. A great way to not have to cook but still have family time together eating. The next Chick-Fil-A Night is Thursday, December 6th, 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.. _____________________________

Mercer University Fine Art of Fashion Exhibition, - December 3rd - 15th A dynamic group show of five local artists and fashion designers representing five nations, assembled by Foundation for Community Arts, Brown Art Gallery of Mercer University, 3001 Mercer University Drive, Doraville, Georgia 30341 to represent themed costumes as might be worn to a masquerade ball - in short, wearable art. The theme comes from Ecclesiastes 3:4, which says: "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance." Exhibit includes a series of paintings titled "Marionettes", by Sarah Dixon along with commentary by our writer's guild. Neighborhood Holiday Potluck Dinner - Wednesday, December 12th - 7 p.m. Our joint Northwoods and Oakcliff potluck will be on Wednesday, December 12th starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Civic Center located behind the Library on Central Avenue. Mayor's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting - Friday, December 7th - 6p.m. - 8p.m. The Mayor's Annual Christmas Tree lighting is an event many of us love to attend and hopefully will be there this year to see the Christmas Tree come to life. Church of the New Covenant Presbyterian in Doraville invites you and your family to celebrate Advent and Christmas with our family this December! In addition to Sunday morning worship services at 10:30 a.m., Church of the New Covenant announces several special events including a performance of Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria on December 9th at 10:30 a.m. Vespers Service, Figgy Pudding Party and Carol Sing on December 16th beginning at 5pm. Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols Service on December 24th at 7pm with a fellowship reception following. Church of the New Covenant is also pleased to introduce a four week 'Advent-ure' class on spirituality and spiritual practices which will be offered Sunday mornings at 9 am beginning on December 2, led by a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary.
